Artist Biography
Isali Arielle is a Jerusalem/London -based multimedia artist working across printmaking, sculpture, painting, and immersive installation. Her practice explores identity, trauma, and the tension between control and release through gestural, calligraphic mark-making across painted and sculptural surfaces.
Recurring motifs in her work, including the esoteric “Dancing Spirits,” form a symbolic language that draws on Jewish mysticism and ancient Semitic traditions. These fragmented, liminal forms operate between abstraction and figuration, engaging with questions of spiritual dislocation, collective memory, and the residue of violence within contemporary consciousness.
She graduated with First Class Honours in Fine Art from Kingston School of Art in 2023. Selected exhibitions include Earth Do Not Cover, My Blood at Stanley Picker Gallery, London; The Last Dancing Spirit at Safehouse 2, London; and Unsettling Identities at Kunsthalle Luzern, Switzerland.
