Making
This series of aquatints explores an abstracted visual code drawn from dancing spirits, calligraphic mark-making, and gestural hand movements. Using the tonal richness and unpredictability of the aquatint process to translate ephemeral gestures into layered prints that pulse with movement and energy. The process became a kind of choreography in itself — each plate carefully bitten, wiped, and layered to preserve the spontaneity of the mark while introducing a sense of ritual and rhythm. These works live in the space between control and surrender, capturing the presence of something felt rather than seen.
